A friend recommended to stopbt imitated a real NYC latte experience. She was correct. 5 stars on my coffee. Didn't get anything to eat this time round but the bagles and treats looked good from what I saw. I even had a second latte. I enjoyed sitting outside under their umbrella this fine day. I would love to sit indoors one winter day, it looks cozy. I only wish they had longer hours because it would be a great 'spot' to mingle and sip coffee all day. I will return and highly recommend this spit to anyone. So far I think its the highest quality caffeine in town.
The only place to get good coffee in Orange County. Ive been to all the other local roasters and cafes. Ill travel 30 mins to come here. Its a great brunch spot, my wife always gets the avocado toast on sourdough. The food quality is much better than the diners and cafes around. Their baked goods are made fresh in house and its probably the best bakery in Orange County as well. If you know good food and coffee, you will feel at home here. I dont know what else to say, my wife and I love it here.
To start: atmosphere is kind of awkward lol there was a couple who was in front of us and then they insisted we were in front of them and said we should go first. Didn't wanna go back and forth so we said sure. The girl who took our order messed somethjng up. I think she may have over charged. The donut was quite delicious. I told bae let's share 1 and we can dip it in our coffees. So service I'll give a 4 because like I said the girl took down an incorrect order for me. When I said this is wrong they offered to make a new one but they would just throw the wrong one away so why waste food. I told them it's fine and the incorrect drink was actually really good. I can appreciate that. I'd come back here with bae, why not.
My husband and I love Cafe Yen! Their drinks are always on point. My favorite is the turmeric chai latte, and he loves the mocha cardamom latte. Best around.🔥 And if you’re getting drinks, don’t skip on breakfast or a pastry to go! Some of our favorites: smashed avocado toast, scrambled eggs, a breakfast sandwich, and their homemade french fries. Compliments to the chef every time. Plus, the atmosphere is always a good vibe. It's welcoming and sincere and warm. Coffee was filtered (drop), and Latte. Drop coffeewas perfect. Atmosphere was authentic ans old school. Looks clean and tidy. Here has patisserie options, we hadn't see many but was delicious.
Sweet or savory cravings satisfied. Top notch pastries and drinks! Welcoming staff and delightful ambience. Best cafe upstate NY to relax and have a bite. There's an art to cooking but science to baking and this place is where you go for quality! The ONLY place I would eat donuts, muffins, or scones. I'm so happy to have discovered this cafe! Such great customer service. I am celiac and they have so many options that actually taste great. I had to go in and check to make sure it was ACTUALLY Gluten free (that's how you know its good). Matcha late is a 12/10. House made Lavender syrup is SO good.
Loved this coffee shop the most in Goshen! Coffee quality was like Manhattan and the vibes like Malibu California! Loved how there was plenty of seating inside and out and the service and friendliness of the people is unmatched! Wish we stayed longer but was leaving to head home on our last day upstate! Definitely will be back and recommend everyone here.
I’ve been coming here since 2019, and there is truly no other café like this in Orange County. I've been exploring local coffee shops around the country for years and Cafe Yen remains a favorite. As the only place serving specialty-grade coffee with scratch-made pastries, it stands out as the best place in Goshen for breakfast and lunch. Grady, the owner, puts incredible care into creating a menu that is both creative and consistent. Personal favs: vanilla bean latte with vanilla bean paste and no fake syrups, avocado toast on fresh sourdough, and the loaded breakfast burrito which is so flavorful and satisfying. If you're in Goshen and you aren't going here, you are missing out! Best cafe ever ❤️
